By booking an appointment with Avara Medical, you agree to the following terms and conditions. We ask that you take a moment to read through our policies carefully — they are designed to ensure a smooth, professional, and respectful experience for everyone.

Appointment Booking & Deposits

  • A 50% booking fee is required to secure all appointments. This fee is applied toward the total cost of your treatment.
  • Appointments booked within 48 hours require full prepayment.
  • Deposits and prepayments are non-refundable.
  • Deposits may not be transferred to different services.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
  • With proper notice, deposits may be transferred once to a new appointment scheduled within 14 days of the original booking.
  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, same-day cancellations, or missed appointments will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

Late Arrivals

Arriving more than 10–15 minutes late may result in a shortened treatment or cancellation of the appointment if it cannot be safely performed. In such cases, the deposit will be forfeited.

No-Shows

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice will result in loss of the deposit. Future bookings may require full prepayment.

Consent & Medical Disclosure

All patients must complete and sign a medical consent form prior to treatment. By booking, you acknowledge that:

  • You will provide accurate and complete medical information
  • Aesthetic outcomes vary between individuals
  • No specific results are guaranteed
  • Additional treatments may be required to achieve desired outcomes

Treatment will not proceed without signed consent.

Refund Policy

No refunds are issued for completed treatments. Fees cover the professional service, clinical time, product usage, and expertise provided.

Refusal of Service

The practitioner reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment where it is deemed medically inappropriate, unsafe, outside scope of practice, or not in the patient's best interest.

Photography & Media Consent

  • Clinical photographs may be taken for medical documentation purposes.
  • Separate written consent will always be obtained before any images are used for educational or marketing purposes.
  • Patients may decline marketing use without affecting their treatment.

Code of Conduct

We maintain a professional, respectful clinical environment. Abusive, aggressive, inappropriate, or threatening behaviour toward staff will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of the appointment and refusal of future service.

Medical Emergencies

True medical emergencies will be reviewed at the practitioner's discretion.
